Lysette Ann Drumgold is an international hair and make-up artist living in New York City. Born in Jamaica, W.I., she discovered her passion for fashion and the arts from an early age and learned that creativity was the core of her being.
Lysette has spent the past sixteen years working, not only as a key hair and make-up artist for fashion shows, developing looks for Haute Hippie and “Zoo York,” but in all facets of media: film, music, advertising, and book publishing. She has been the hair and make-up stylist for a number of celebrities including Mo’Nique, Steve Zahn, Ethan Hawke, Bethenny Frankel, and Snooki. Her film and video credits include projects for VH1, the Family Channel, the Discovery Health Channel, and several independent films. Lysette’s vast repertoire flows onto catalogs, magazine covers, book covers for Kensington Publishing Corp. and Random House, Inc., and into music videos for artists such as Carl Thomas, Nas, and Kool and the Gang, and Sean Paul, as well as a number of international artists.
Lysette has also contributed articles for several fashion magazines, and her work has been featured in the New York Post and The New York Press, Time magazine, among other publications, she has also lent her talents to charity organizations including Ronald McDonalds House and the Point Foundation. She spends most of her time in New York City, where she is a chief stylist for a number of performance artists, and works with a variety of private clients and industry events.
